WizKids is introducing two new configurations to the Single unpainted package size, starting in September 2024 with Wave 23. Single blisters will be sold in new configurations:
- a “1-Pack” at $4.49
- and a “Multi-Pack” at $5.99
All existing $4.99 Single UPM will convert to the new pricing structure on January 1, 2025. This coincides with a packaging redesign, which was implemented to address retailer requests. The old “color-coding” system for packaging is being replaced with a clearer set of background colors that reflect the contents of the blister:

- Green for terrain pieces

Q: What’s the difference between the two new packs?
A: A 1-Pack contains only one miniature. A Multi-Pack contains two or more miniatures.
Q: Will this price change affect Tall and Double-Wide blisters?
A: No, Tall blisters will remain at $8.99 MSRP, and Double-Wide blister will remain at $14.99 MSRP.
Q: Are the 1-Packs and Multi-Packs blister cards a different size?
A: No, the 1-Packs and Multi-Pack blister cards are the same size as the existing Single blister (about 80mm × 140mm).
Q: Does this mean that WizKids is changing the price on existing Single blisters?
A: Beginning on January 1, 2025, prices of all $4.99 SKUs (including active stock) will be adjusted to the new pricing structure (e.g. one figure/1-pack will be $4.49 and multi-packs will be revised to $5.99).
Q: If WizKids reprints older SKUs, will the MSRP change on those?
A: Yes, reprints arriving after January 1, 2025 will be subject to the new pricing structure. Reprints arriving prior to January 1, 2025 will remain at the current pricing structure. Additionally, all reprints after January 1st, 2025 will include the new packaging style.
Q: How often is WizKids planning to add new releases to the UPM line?
A: They are committed to maintaining a schedule of three smaller UPM waves per year.
Q: The new unpainted miniatures are packaged without the clear round bases, and the terrain pads are not attached. Are reprints going to follow suit?
A: Reprints will no longer include the round bases, but the existing terrain pads will remain, and will continue to be attached at the factory.
Q: Does this mean that there will always be assembly required for new unpainted miniatures, from now on?
